Diane has successfully navigated from 30 years as a sales and marketing executive to an Independent Board Director for Thrall Enterprises, Inc. and A&E Valco Industries. She was a C-Suite executive with branded manufacturing companies, including K’Nex, Crayola, and FXI. Her depth of experience in global sales and marketing with both consumer goods and industrial manufacturers has provided a valuable point of view as an expert witness on the topics of channel strategies, branding, and licensing.

Matthew Fairless

Matthew is a certified Executive Leadership Coach and Coaching Supervisor with the prestigious, UK-based, Tavistock Institute. This is your chance to tap into the knowledge he’s gained coaching globally for blue-chip and professional services clients, often working with individuals and teams undergoing major role transitions. He is also a regular coach on the High-Performance Leadership program at IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland. Before becoming a Coach, Matthew held several project and operational roles as a Managing Director at UBS, including six years as COO for Group Legal in Zurich and three years as COO for the UBS Offshoring Center in India.

His professional experiences have included the mediation of over 1500 contract disputes, a leadership role as country manager for Krauthammer International, a European-based global leadership development company, and a senior partnership role at Decision Processes International, a global strategy-consulting firm.

Marla Mayer is a Finance and Human Capital Professional, Board Member, Investor, and Philanthropist. Following an 18-year career at Goldman Sachs, she has served as the interim Executive Leader of the People Team at DreamBox Learning. Chief Admin & Operations Officer for Eleven Canterbury. She has years of experience working with clients and preparing candidates in the details of being retained and successfully serving as an expert witness. Prior to joining Eleven Canterbury, she was Director and Global Business Manager for FX, MM and Commodities at UBS AG, Assistant Vice President at ABN Amro, and Assistant Treasurer at JPMorgan Chase. Helene volunteers teaching a My Money session on financial literacy to women residing with the NYS Dept. of Correctional Services.

Steve Rubinow

Steve is the President of Infocology Inc., and Director of the Institute for Professional Development at DePaul University’s College of Computing and Digital Media Professional Lecturer in the School of Computing. He was the EVP and CTO for Catalina, a personalized digital media company leading all aspects of the global technology function. Earlier roles included Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Thomson Reuters’ Marketplaces Division, focused on electronic foreign exchange trading solutions, and EVP and CIO at the New York Stock Exchange, responsible for all aspects of technology.

Jeff is an Operating Partner at a Private Equity company and currently sits on three company boards. He was the CIO at Johnson & Johnson, responsible for all aspects of information technology for its pharmaceutical business (Janssen) and the CIO for Johnson & Johnson Family of Consumer Companies. Prior to that he was the global CIO of Hess Corporation and CIO of Linens & Things. He has held several board of director and advisory board positions for VC companies, universities, county YMCA chapters, and industry groups.

She served as Chief Human Resources Officer for APTIM and as senior vice president of human resources; environment, health and safety; facilities and the SUEZ North America Foundation for SUEZ in North America, a subsidiary of SUEZ. She currently serves as Commissioner, Vice-Chair for Broward Health, as well as second vice-chair for the Urban League of Broward County, FL.

Cristian Zarcu

Cristian is the President and COO of TradeDynamiX LLC. The company helps regulators and financial market participants achieve a consistent and transparent approach to trading risk, via cutting-edge technology. Prior to that, he spent two decades in Electronic and Algorithmic Trading most recently as Head of Lazard’s Analytic Trading Solutions. Previously, Cristian founded Wachovia’s Automated Trading Solutions group and built it into a full-fledged electronic trading platform. Prior to joining Wachovia, he was the Head of Program/Algorithmic Trading at Banc of America Securities where he was responsible for managing and enhancing the firm’s electronic trading offering.
