Meet the ETA Series Facilitators
Diane has successfully navigated from 30 years as a sales and marketing executive to an Independent Board Director for Thrall Enterprises, Inc. and A&E Valco Industries. She was a C-Suite executive with branded manufacturing companies, including K’Nex, Crayola, and FXI. Her depth of experience in global sales and marketing with both consumer goods and industrial manufacturers has provided a valuable point of view as an expert witness on the topics of channel strategies, branding, and licensing.
Matthew is a certified Executive Leadership Coach and Coaching Supervisor with the prestigious, UK-based, Tavistock Institute. This is your chance to tap into the knowledge he’s gained coaching globally for blue-chip and professional services clients, often working with individuals and teams undergoing major role transitions. He is also a regular coach on the High-Performance Leadership program at IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland. Before becoming a Coach, Matthew held several project and operational roles as a Managing Director at UBS, including six years as COO for Group Legal in Zurich and three years as COO for the UBS Offshoring Center in India.
Ted is an organizational development consultant and executive coach. He has coached both line and staff executives, including CEO, President, Business Unit Leaders, CFO, COO, CIO, General Counsel, and Senior Vice Presidents in a broad range of industries. His professional experiences have included the mediation of over 1500 contract disputes, a leadership role as country manager for Krauthammer International, a European-based global leadership development company, and a senior partnership role at Decision Processes International, a global strategy-consulting firm.
Janine is the Interim Director/Management Consultant at Vital Business Resources Limited and a non-executive board director and lecturer. She has designed her semi-retired life around a love of teaching and the pursuit of providing strategic consultancy services. Janine blends her non-executive roles, which utilize her many years of board experience, working with companies at every stage of their evolution.
Melissa is a Board Member and Executive Leadership Coach & Career Advisor. She held a senior leadership role at Macy’s managing a $600M P&L, an associate base of 3000, has transitioned multiple M&As, and was the architect of multiple company-wide initiatives. Melissa was the first woman to lead the iconic Herald Square. She is the Board Chair of NACD Philadelphia, Chair of the Forum of Executive Women Leadership, and Vice-Chair for ALS.
Dr. Joanna Dodd Massey
Joanna is a C-level communications executive and Board Director with over 25 years of experience in the media industry, working at Condé Nast, Lionsgate, CBS, Viacom, Discovery, and Hasbro. She is a corporate speaker, a Board Director for publicly held companies and non-profits, and an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University. She is the author of Culture Shock: Surviving Five Generations in One Workplace and Communicating During a Crisis: Influencing Others When the Stakes Are High.
Marla Mayer is a Finance and Human Capital Professional, Board Member, Investor, and Philanthropist. Following an 18-year career at Goldman Sachs, she has served as the interim Executive Leader of the People Team at DreamBox Learning. She is on the board of The Kitchen (NYC) and is President of the Executive Producer Council at CAP UCLA. Marla is also an Advisory Council member of Action Against Hunger (and former board member), and a former board member of Her Justice (NYC) and the New Roads School (Santa Monica).
Marie Meliksetian is the CEO of Reliance Solution Services, LLC, and President of the International Women’s Forum of Connecticut. She was the US Chief Executive Officer for a DXC Company (Xchanging Services) and has held a variety of senior-level global positions at IBM, focusing on Business Process Outsourcing and Procurement.
Chief Admin & Operations Officer for Eleven Canterbury. She has years of experience working with clients and preparing candidates in the details of being retained and successfully serving as an expert witness. Prior to joining Eleven Canterbury, she was Director and Global Business Manager for FX, MM and Commodities at UBS AG, Assistant Vice President at ABN Amro, and Assistant Treasurer at JPMorgan Chase. Helene volunteers teaching a My Money session on financial literacy to women residing with the NYS Dept. of Correctional Services.
Steve is the President of Infocology Inc., and Director of the Institute for Professional Development at DePaul University’s College of Computing and Digital Media Professional Lecturer in the School of Computing. He was the EVP and CTO for Catalina, a personalized digital media company leading all aspects of the global technology function. Earlier roles included Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Thomson Reuters’ Marketplaces Division, focused on electronic foreign exchange trading solutions, and EVP and CIO at the New York Stock Exchange, responsible for all aspects of technology.
Jeff is an Operating Partner at a Private Equity company and currently sits on three company boards. He was the CIO at Johnson & Johnson, responsible for all aspects of information technology for its pharmaceutical business (Janssen) and the CIO for Johnson & Johnson Family of Consumer Companies. Prior to that he was the global CIO of Hess Corporation and CIO of Linens & Things. He has held several board of director and advisory board positions for VC companies, universities, county YMCA chapters, and industry groups.
