BRAND GUIDELINES
Our guidelines outline the rules for using the ElevenCanterbury’s brand assets. Please help us protect our brand, and present your work in the most appropriate way, by following these guidelines and only using approved brand assets from this site (any logos or images found elsewhere on the web are not approved for use).
Only those planning to use ElevenCanterbury’s assets in any broadcast, radio, online advertising, or print larger than 8.5 x 11 inches (A4 size) need to request permission. Requests must be in English and include a mock up of how you are planning to use the ElevenCanterbury logo. Please contact admin@elevencanterbury.com.
LOGO
Our primary wordmark logo is rendered with ElevenCanterbury Gray and Red on a White background. This logo should be used in all instances. If you cannot use our primary logo due to color or technical limitations, our secondary (inverted) and tertiary solid black & white logos are also provided for use.
COLOR GUIDELINES
Please follow these Color Guidelines with the Eleven Canterbury Logo
CLEARING SPACE
The minimum clear space of the logo is the width of the L in ElevenCanterbury.
LOGO ON COLOR
In certain situations, the logo can also be used on a white or contextually colored background, as long as there is a 3:1 contrast ratio. Anything less may compromise visibility and is not recommended. Color contrasts can be checked here. https://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/
VIDEO WATERMARK
On very few occasions, the logo can appear in white. One such occasion is for the video watermark.
DO’S
- Do use the official ElevenCanterbury wordmark files provided on this site rather than creating your own.
- Do only use the ElevenCanterbury company wordmark to refer to ElevenCanterbury, use within digital documents, print materials, and videos.
- Do use the ElevenCanterbury company wordmark in blue grey on white or light-colored backgrounds, or the white logo on a dark-colored background.
- Do preserve the integrity of the ElevenCanterbury company wordmark by following the clear space guidelines shown here.
- Do ensure that the wordmark remains true to its original artwork in scale, size and dimension. Shadows, gradients, bevels and other effects should be avoided. It should be applied in high resolution to avoid pixelated executions.

TYPOGRAPHY
Helvetica Neue is our primary typeface, chosen to reflect the boldness and impact of ElevenCanterbury. Roboto is our secondary typeface, chosen to reflect the humanity and inclusiveness of ElevenCanterbury. When used together, Helvetica Neue and Roboto help communicate ElevenCanterbury’s core principles.
PRIMARY
Helvetica Neue is our primary typeface. Title and sentence case are preferred. Only use all caps in small instances such as charts, labels and UI navigation. The default weight to use is Helvetica Neue Light. In cases where legibility is an issue, use Helvetica Neue Regular.
SECONDARY
Helvetica Neue Medium is our secondary typeface and is primarily used in large headlines and titles. The default weight to use is Medium. Titles should be Helvetica Neue Medium. Subtitles should be Helvetica Neue Regular. The supporting weights of Roboto may also be used, but usually for emphasis in smaller applications such as subheads, captions, tables, charts and folios.
In cases where Helvetica Neue is not available, use Roboto as a substitute with the same weight order, e.g. use Roboto Light before Roboto Regular. In cases where Roboto is not available, please use Open Sans as a substitute.
